Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our business in analyzing business problems, driving solutions, and documenting processes. The person should have a good understanding of business requirements and the ability to quickly get to the root cause of a particular reporting/BI/data issue and draft solutions for resolution. The ideal candidate would be high on attention to detail, bias for action, and an interest in analytics/BI/automation. This job is aligned with UAE's Emiratization initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions. Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing resources.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (internal/external) to understand and automate/enhance existing processes.
  • Come up with innovative ideas for new work or to improve existing work.
  • Be open to learning and developing skillsets in the latest technologies and analytical techniques.
  • Understand how data/analytical frameworks translate to business on the ground.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required; BE is preferred.
  • Experience working in a similar role (at least 1 year).
  • Exposure to Excel and SQL.
  • Deadline-driven team player with strong customer focus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on issues.
  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross-functional interactions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel and maintain attention to detail.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and QuickSight.
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality practices is a plus.
  • Required Experience: IC.
