Job summary

talentbridgedubai is seeking a Business Analyst (Next-Gen Tools) for a fully remote role. You will bridge business and engineering, turning complex trading workflows into actionable specifications and testable solutions for a global funded-trader platform.

You will lead discovery, define BRDs/FRDs, collaborate on backlog, and ensure traceability across payment, KYC/AML, and trading systems. Relocation to Dubai after 6 months is possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Business Analyst in trading, fintech, or complex platform environments.
• Hands-on understanding of proprietary trading lifecycle from evaluation to funding.
• Strong knowledge of Forex markets, leverage, margin, and order types.
• Proficient with Confluence, Jira, and diagram tools.
• Experience creating ERDs, BPMN workflows, and light wireframes (Figma).
• Excellent documentation and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and produce concise BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Map the prop-funded trading lifecycle from evaluation purchase to funding, scaling, payouts.
• Define data models, API contracts, and event structures across payment systems and trading platforms.
• Translate risk and compliance controls into clear system checks and decision flows.
• Collaborate with engineering and product on backlog prioritisation, testing, and requirements traceability.
• Develop and execute UAT, smoke, and regression test cases; log defects with evidence.
• Maintain robust process documentation and system architecture references.

About the Role

Our client, one of the fastest-growing proprietary trading firms in the world, is seeking a Business Analyst (Next-Gen Tools) to help build the trading infrastructure of tomorrow. This firm funds retail traders through an evaluation-to-funded model and is now developing next-generation tools that power the full trader lifecyclesimple, reliable, and data-driven.

In this pivotal role, youll bridge business and engineering by turning complex trading workflows into actionable specifications and testable solutions that enable the next generation of funded traders globally.

Key Responsibilities

Lead discovery sessions and produce concise Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Map the entire prop-funded trading lifecycle including evaluation purchase, account setup, risk rules, pass/fail logic, funding, scaling, payouts, and support workflows.
• Define data models, API contracts, and event structures across payment systems, KYC/AML, trading platforms (MT4/MT5/cTrader), and internal tools.
• Translate complex risk and compliance controls (drawdown, daily loss, multi-accounting, copy trading) into clear system checks and decision flows.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on backlog prioritisation, testing, and requirements traceability.
• Develop and execute UAT, smoke, and regression test cases; log and verify defects with supporting evidence.
• Maintain robust process documentation, flowcharts, and system architecture references using Confluence, Jira, and diagramming tools.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 4 years experience as a Business Analyst within trading, fintech, or complex platform environments.
• Hands‑on understanding of proprietary trading lifecycle from evaluation purchase to funding, scaling, and payouts.
• Strong knowledge of Forex markets: leverage, margin, order types, spreads, and trading sessions.
• Advanced proficiency with Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira) and diagramming tools such as Lucidchart, Miro, or draw.io.
• Experience creating ERDs, BPMN workflows, and light wireframes (Figma)
• Strong documentation, analytical, and cross‑functional communication skills.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with automation, machine learning, and CRM/ticketing tools.
• Basic SQL and experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
