Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Digital payments, cheques and the Payments landscape.
  • Well versed in cross-border and domestic payments.
  • Knowledge of UAE Payment schemes is advantageous.

  • Prepare functional documents like Business requirements and User stories.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare MIS reports.

Job Description

Role : Business Analyst - Payments
Location : Dubai - Jafza

Role Purpose:

To work as Business analyst function within Payment Operations team bridging Business/Ops and Technology. Primary duty is to own and execute business-as-usual and strategic projects in Payment's domain

Key Accountabilities of the role
  • Partner with other stakeholder teams across business units to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with operations, managerial and technology teams.
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements; identifying areas for improvement and developing & implementing solutions.
  • Prepare functional documents like Business requirements and Functional specification, User stories, process maps and SOP's
  • Perform Functional Impact analysis.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Performing / coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Design process flowcharts and construct workflow diagrams.
  • Work alongside DevOps team for solution design & development
  • Support Testing and review of Test scenarios and validate Test case in line with the business requirements & functional specifications
  • Monitoring project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports and recommending actions
  • Prepare MIS reports and identify process improvements within Payment Operations
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems and suggest improved procedures.
  • Maintain proper and organized records keeping the department share folder.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
  • Strong knowledge of Payments domain - Digital payments and cheques
  • Good understanding of Payments landscape, services, and integration touchpoints
  • Well versed in cross-border payments and domestic payments
  • Knowledge of UAE Payment schemes will be an added advantage
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Time Management
  • Error free process and Problem solving
