We are partnering with one of the leading Banking & Insurance Company in Dubai. We are looking for a Business Analyst.

Job Description :

Responsibilities
  • Work with the business and the Health and Life Platforms lead to establish the strategy and organization for the Healthcare IT Platforms, with strong focus to maximize the impact on business
  • Consults with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of Business Analysts, business teams, testers, developers (as required) and other technical teams to deliver the functionalities
  • Monitor the Healthcare IT Platform stability and make improvements, if necessary
  • Engagement with business and technical teams establishing trust-based relationship
  • Analyzes the issues of the existing systems reported by users, designs and coordinates the solution
  • Analyzes the feasibility of, and prepares requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.
  • Recommended solutions should be developed in consultation with impacted internal and external stakeholders but should remain objective and independent of the specific stakeholders.
  • Prioritizing the business requirements and functional deliveries to effectively meet the needs of the business areas and the customers
  • Managing the backlog of enhancements and issues with a clear status
  • Support the delivery team to deliver new products / features and / or iterations to existing products to meet user needs
  • Work closely / coordinate with solution architect, and software development team (vendors) and business to ensure the completion of all aspects of business requirement within required scope.
  • Support the Health & Life Platform Lead / Project Managers with the definition of the vision, goals and preparing the product roadmap as per agreed priorities
  • Obtain, review and challenge the effort estimates from developers and testers. Discuss estimates with the Platform / Project Manager for approval, ensuring that the development budget is not exceeded
  • Create low level design document / Integration specification including data fields mapping (as required).
  • Work Closely with Test Lead(s) to define the test plan, test scripts, technical integration test cases and user acceptance tests
  • Participates / execute / coordinate testing of new system functionality.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Preparation of system release notes, user manuals, develops training curriculum and conducts formal training sessions for business users and service delivery team.
  • Manage relationships with solution providers (vendors) and ensure they deliver as per plan and requirements & scope
  • Support Project manager(s) in coordinating other activities related to the project.
Profile / Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of Healthcare insurance business with current market knowledge (specifics of the Healthcare insurance in the Gulf region)
