Business Analyst - ERP
Job description
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for ERP system implementation and enhancements.
- Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure the ERP system meets business needs.
- Conduct system analysis, define user stories, and document business requirements for ERP-related projects.
- Configure and test ERP modules, ensuring they meet functional requirements.
- Assist with data migration, system integrations, and provide training to users.
- Participate in the planning and execution of ERP projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Support the continuous improvement of ERP systems, identifying opportunities to enhance business processes and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Finance, HR, etc.) to ensure the system’s alignment with business goals.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot ERP issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in ERP systems and provide recommendations for optimization.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in ERP systems (preferably with SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong understanding of ERP modules like Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Manufacturing, or Sales.
- Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, preparing functional specifications, and performing gap analysis.
- Experience in ERP system configuration, testing, and implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of business process modeling and mapping is a plus.
- ERP certification (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Experience with cloud-based ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to identify areas for improvement.
