Job description

Work location: Client office, Koramangala, Bangalore

Mode of working: Hybrid - 3 days a week from office

Experience: 6 to 8 years

Budget: Up to 18 LPA

Client payroll only.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers/SME to understand business processes and brainstorm functional solutions.
• Discuss with domain SMEs and formulate solutions to intricate requirements.
• Produce high‑level and detailed designs including data model, API specifications, wireframes, etc.
• Conceptualize and define end‑to‑end solutions for the given business domain.
• Collaborate with customer/SME development teams to understand or develop specifications, providing guidance to the young development team.
• Create test scripts and carry out functional testing, generate test results and ensure development meets expectations.
• Use natural analytical thinking to troubleshoot issues.
• Develop sprint delivery plans, task timelines, milestones, and business outcomes to ensure on‑time release.
• Present KPIs in the prescribed format during internal weekly calls.
• Attend daily client meetings to present status, discuss requirements, challenges, and manage situations.
• Act as a single source of contact for business requirements for the delivery team.
• Prioritize, manage, and deliver multiple tasks, meeting aligned timelines and optimizing quality and customer satisfaction.
• Work in a distributed team environment across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Functional experience with SAP/JDE in supply chain, production, procurement, sales, and distribution.
• Knowledge of SAP/JDE tables and how to join them for business reporting.
• Adept at analyzing supply‑chain data, familiar with at least one ERP system’s supply‑chain tables (SAP or JDE).
• Hands‑on SQL data analysis.
• Excellent client‑facing and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to implement structured solutions.
• Self‑directed and proactive problem‑tackling approach.
• Good knowledge of integration/import & export data.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Jira to decompose business processes into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage product backlog.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non‑technical audiences across multiple organizational levels.
• Strong documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• End‑to‑end SAP implementation experience in production, procurement, and sales & distribution modules.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience writing and executing test cases in HP‑ALM or a similar tool.
• Experience in consumer, pharma, or life‑sciences industry.
• Basic understanding of technical code such as ABAP or Python.
