Job summary

Mareana is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong data analytics background in the Supply Chain domain to help develop Mareana’s products for supply chain, manufacturing and unstructured data.

You will work with customers and SMEs to understand business processes, design solutions, create data models and API specifications, and guide development teams to deliver end‑to‑end improvements across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Functional experience in SAP/JDE in SCM and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes with customers/SMEs and brainstorm functional solutions.
• Produce high level and detailed designs including data model and API specs.

Business Analyst Bangalore / Full-Time Job Description Mareana is looking for experienced Business Analyst with a strong data analytics background in Supply Chain Domain and willing to learn new technologies. This role is responsible for developing and enhancing Mareana’s products in supply chain, manufacturing, and unstructured data.

What You'll Do

• Work with customers/SME to understand business processes, brainstorm the functional solution.
• Discuss with domain SME’s and formulate solutions to intricate requirements
• Produce High level/detailed designs including Data Model, API specifications, Wireframes etc.
• Conceptualize and define E2E solution for a given business, functional domain.
• Collaborate with development team of customers/SME to understand or develop as per the specifications. Ability to guide the young development team with creative logic to solve complex requirements.
• Create test scripts and carry out functional testing, generate test results and ensure development as per expectations.
• Should possess natural analytical way of thinking and troubleshooting issues.
• Develop Project Sprint delivery plans, with task timelines and milestones with business outcomes. Ensure on time project release as per the plan.
• Project KPIs should be presented in the prescribed format in the internal weekly calls.
• Attending daily meetings with the clients, present status and discuss requirements, challenges and manage situations.
• Acting as a single source of contact for the business requirements for the delivery team.
• Prioritize, Manage & Deliver multiple tasks – meeting aligned timelines, with optimal quality and optimize customer satisfaction.
• Work in a distributed team environment across multiple time-zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 3 to 4 years of experience in the role of a Business Analyst.
• Should have functional experience in SAP/JDE in Supply chain, production/procurement/sales, and distribution.
• Should have knowledge in the tables used in SAP / JDE and how they can be joined to bring out a business reporting requirement.
• Adept at understanding and analyzing supply chain data. Must be familiar with the supply chain tables/data of at least one ERP system, SAP or JDE.
• Hands-on with SQL Data analysis
• Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to drive and implement structured solutions
• Self-directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources
• Good knowledge in integration/import & export data
• Proficient in Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Jira - decompose business processes into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and manage product backlog.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
• Should be good at documentation.

Nice to Have

• E2E implementation experience in SAP in either production, procurement and Sales and distribution modules.
• Good to understand Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau/Power BI)
• Test cases and test execution in HP-ALM or similar tool
• Experience on Consumer, Pharma/Life-Sciences industry.
• Basic ability to understand technical code ABAP / Python etc.
