Business Analyst – Al Futtaim Motors – Lexus

Al-Futtaim Motors are the sole distributors for Toyota, Lexus and Hino brands in the UAE. Since the company's inception in 1955, it holds the pre-eminent position of being the largest distributor of automotive products and services in the UAE. We also hold the distinction of being one of the largest private conglomerates in the Gulf region.

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Dubai at Al Futtaim Motors - Lexus.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  1. Annual plans and Rolling Forecasts
  2. Supporting the Lexus Management Team in the preparation of annual plans and periodical reviews.
  3. MIS and Management reporting including:
  1. Preparation of monthly management reports and presentation for management board.
  2. Reporting and analysis for Lexus brand including a strong KPI focus.
  3. Support the Business Unit Finance Manager (BUFM) in divisional performance reviews and variance analysis.
  4. Co-ordinate and support AFSS team in GL review and accounting related issues.
  5. Review manage and check incentive schemes and payments, Working Capital and Cashflow.
  6. Review and advise BUFM in all aspects of working capital planning by analyzing historical data and validating underlying assumptions.
  7. Review and Monitor Divisional/Branch level overdue and follow-up with the Divisional team for corrective actions.

Provide Commercial Support in the following areas:

  1. Provide analytical support in evaluating divisional pricing strategies, specific focus on FX risk.
  2. Support review of procurement process/analysis and control.
  3. Advise and support in project evaluation and prepare feasibility reports.
  4. Assist rents and leasing division directly with all aspects of accounting/financial analysis and policy development.

System and Process Development

Advice and support BUFM/GM and business units in system and process development.

To apply for this role you should have the following skills, experiences and qualifications:

  1. Hold a University Degree in Accounting/MBA/Finance.
  2. 5 years in a similar role.
  3. Strong Accounting skills.
  4. Strong analytical skills.
  5. Advanced level of MS Excel. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  6. Ability to manage and understand a large and complex business.
  7. Good communication skills.
  8. A team player.
  9. Ability to work off own initiative.
  10. Be able to work under pressure whilst working towards tight deadlines.
  11. Able to plan & prioritise tasks.
  12. Show initiative.
  13. Be a self-starter.
