Senior Omnichannel Analyst Role Summary:

The role holder is responsible for delivering Q-commerce sales & gross margin targets through growth strategies within GMG's Health & Beauty business division.

Job Description:

  1. Align and execute plans for Q-Commerce in line with business expectations and targets.
  2. Manage Q-Commerce operations focusing on growth opportunities and collaborate with partners such as talabat, Instashop, Careem, Deliveroo, etc., onboarding new partners as needed.
  3. Plan and achieve superior sales & margins ensuring a strong ROI through campaigns like CPC, Premium listing, etc.
  4. Coordinate business review meetings with channel partners to improve brand presence & positioning.
  5. Evaluate performance against plans and take corrective actions on metrics such as product, revenue, traffic, basket size, conversion, pricing gaps, SLAs, Ratings, etc., collaborating with cross-functional teams including retail operations, planning, category, and marketing.
  6. Ensure stock accuracy through continuous monitoring, resolution, and process improvements in collaboration with planning, allocation, and ICD teams.
  7. Work with finance, planning, and marketing teams to create promotions and campaigns that drive top-line growth and profitability.
  8. Analyze and review product listings and content on platforms to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with market trends.
  9. Set up and utilize reports to monitor business performance against plans on key areas.
  10. Share insights and recommendations with stakeholders from buying, planning, and senior management to facilitate growth actions.
  11. Monitor competitive pricing and propose strategic action plans accordingly.

Functional/Technical Competencies:

  • Familiarity with marketplace/Q-Commerce channels and systems (e.g., Amazon Seller Central).
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel and Power BI for performance tracking.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret reports to evaluate KPIs such as sales, traffic, and conversions.
  • Strong understanding of Q-Commerce/e-commerce operations, including product management, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and the MS Office suite, especially in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

  • Experience managing marketplace/Q-Commerce channels (e.g., Instashop, talabat, Deliveroo) within retail or pharmacy environments.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in e-commerce/Q-Commerce sales, operations, or growth roles.
