Scope
The ideal candidate will have experience in mobile commerce, retail, grocery, and logistics (warehouse) environments. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, analyze processes, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to supply chain processes, mobile commerce, and retail operations.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to analyze trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate existing processes and workflows within the supply chain, logistics, and retail sectors, recommending enhancements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Solution Design: Work closely with IT and development teams to design and implement technology solutions that meet business needs, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding of project goals and requirements.
- Project Management: Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and function as intended.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize new systems and processes effectively.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile commerce, retail, grocery, and logistics to inform business strategies.
Required experience
- 9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in supply chain solutions, mobile commerce, retail, grocery, or logistics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and experience with business intelligence software.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices, including inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, CRM platforms) used in supply chain and retail environments.
- Required education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is a plus.
