About the Role
The Business Analyst (Techno-Functional) position is a mid-to-senior level role focused on supporting the end-to-end implementation and ongoing optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) ERP across multiple business entities. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are meticulously captured, translated, and delivered through the D365 platform. The position has a direct impact on the efficiency, compliance, and scalability of core business processes, contributing to the overall success of the ERP transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders across Procurement, Inventory, Sales, General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications and work closely with technical teams to design and implement effective D365 solutions.
- Participate actively in system configuration, customization, and parameterization of D365 modules to align with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead and support data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, mapping, cleansing, and validation throughout the migration process.
- Coordinate and execute comprehensive system and user acceptance testing (UAT), including the development of test cases, scripts, and defect tracking.
- Develop, update, and deliver user training materials and conduct hands-on training sessions to ensure smooth adoption and optimal use of D365 functionalities.
- Provide first-line post-go-live support to end-users, troubleshooting functional issues, resolving incidents, and escalating technical problems as necessary.
- Monitor system performance, proactively identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements to maximize system efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Maintain thorough documentation of business processes, system configurations, workflows, and change logs to support ongoing governance and compliance.
- Liaise with Microsoft support, external implementation partners, and internal IT teams to coordinate issue resolution, system upgrades, and patch management.
- Ensure all ERP processes comply with local regulatory requirements, including UAE VAT and other statutory obligations.
- Support the integration of D365 with other business applications and platforms, leveraging Power Platform, Power BI, and SQL as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing business process gaps and proposing innovative solutions.

Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or Techno-Functional Consultant with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) or Business Central, including at least one full-cycle ERP implementation.
- In-depth understanding of business processes in Procurement, Inventory Management, Sales, Finance (GL, AR, AP), and their mapping within D365 modules.
- Demonstrated expertise in D365 configuration, workflow automation, security roles, and reporting tools such as Management Reporter and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional designs.
- Proficiency in data migration methodologies, data mapping, cleansing, and validation within ERP environments.
- Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, present solutions, and manage expectations across diverse user groups.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Power BI, and SQL for reporting, integration, and automation purposes.
- Knowledge of local compliance requirements, including UAE VAT regulations and statutory reporting.
- Experience working in trading, logistics, or manufacturing sectors is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within tight deadlines in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Experience in Power Platform, SQL, or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are considered an asset.
- Proven track record of successful ERP implementations and post-go-live support.
