Job description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and domain-experienced Business Analyst to join a maritime/logistics enterprise in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital bridge between business operations and digital solution teams, facilitating process improvement, stakeholder alignment, and successful delivery of enterprise-grade projects in the maritime or logistics sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis & Optimization
    • Lead end-to-end process mapping, benchmarking, and re-engineering initiatives.
    • Analyze and document current (as-is) and future (to-be) workflows with clear gap-fit and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Requirements Gathering & Solution Design
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, operations, and digitalization teams to gather detailed functional requirements.
    • Ensure alignment between business processes and vendor solutions, identifying enhancement needs and integration points.
  • Project & Change Management
    • Support full-cycle project activities, including risk identification, demo sessions, UAT coordination, training, and deployment roll-outs.
    • Drive change-management initiatives to ensure adoption of optimized services and maintain alignment with industry best practices.
  • Functional Support & Documentation
    • Provide hands-on support to development and testing teams, ensuring accurate implementation of business needs.
    • Maintain high-quality documentation for all business processes, requirements, and solution blueprints

Requirements

  • 5-7 yrs experience as Business Analyst / product-owner within maritime or logistics domains
  • Lead end-to-end process analysis, benchmarking, re-engineering & requirements gathering (as-is / to-be, cost-benefit, gap fit)
  • Coordinate with Stakeholder-Mgmt, Operations & Digitalization teams; align vendor products to business workflows
  • Drive change-management to keep services & solutions current with industry best practices
  • Monitor project progress, highlight risks, run demos, UAT sessions, training and roll-outs
  • Provide functional support to dev teams and ensure documentation of optimized processes
  • Bachelor's in IT/Software; CBAP preferred; strong consultative & communication skills (English essential, Arabic nice)
  • Proven ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions in enterprise projects.
