Job summary

Emirates Panel Company Trading LLC is seeking a skilled technician to interpret drawings, cut and assemble busbars, and install switchgear panels on site. You will ensure accurate dimensions, proper insulation, earthing and secure terminations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading technical drawings, familiarity with busbar machines, and strict adherence to HSE standards. Diploma or ITI with relevant experience is preferred; on-site work in the UAE is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or ITI with relevant industrial experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and BOM.
• Experience with switchgear components and their handling methods.
• Strong knowledge of HSE rules and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed design drawings to determine busbar size and specifications.
• Measure, cut, punch and bend busbars to precise dimensions and tolerances.
• Install insulation, fixings and supports to ensure integrity of busbar assembly.
• Mount and install components such as circuit breakers, relays, etc. in panels.
• Assemble and install low voltage switchgear panels on site per approved drawings.
• Ensure proper busbar alignment, earthing and secure cable terminations.
• Coordinate with engineers and QC teams during testing & commissioning.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Prepare and maintain job completion documents and maintenance reports.
