Job summary

SAFE LINE ELECTRICAL & MECHANICAL L.L.C in Dubai seeks a skilled electrical engineer with 3-4 years in LV switchgear. The candidate should read LV single line diagrams and load schedules and translate them into GA drawings, power diagrams, and control diagrams based on SLDs and project specs.

A solid understanding of panelboard separation forms (Form 4/Form 2) and panelboard types (MDBs, SMDBs, MCCs, control banks, ATS) is essential. ITI/ Diploma or degree in electrical engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in LV switchgear field.
• Ability to read LV single line diagrams (SLD) and load schedules.
• Ability to build GA drawings, power diagrams, and control diagrams from SLDs and project specs.
• Understand forms of separation of panelboards (Form 4, Form 2) and panelboard types (MDBs, SMDBs, MCCs, control banks, ATS).

Responsibilities

• a) Design and develop LV switchgear layouts based on SLDs and load schedules.
• b) Read and interpret LV SLDs and load schedules for accurate wiring and components.
• c) Produce GA drawings, power diagrams, and control diagrams from SLDs and project specs.
• d) Apply correct panelboard separation forms and know panelboard types (MDBs, SMDBs, MCCs, ATS).
