Job summary

Job description

Perform routine, type-related, and special tests on LV switchgear panels in accordance with IEC 61439 and project specifications.

Conduct electrical tests including:

Insulation resistance (IR)

Dielectric withstand (HV)

Continuity tests

Functional and interlock checks

Coordinate and witness FAT with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors.

Verify correct wiring, torque tightening, busbar assembly, earthing, and labeling before testing.

Prepare, review, and submit test reports, FAT procedure, and compliance records.

Identify nonconformities, raise NCRs, and support corrective and preventive actions.

Liaise with production, QC, and engineering teams to resolve test-related issues.

Ensure testing activities comply with HSE requirements and safe working practices.

Maintain calibration status of test instruments and testing equipment.

Support commissioning teams with test data and technical clarifications when required.
