Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in UAE and Ireland seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Busbar EMEA to lead industrialization, NPDI readiness, and automation roadmaps across RAK, UAE and Burnfoot, Ireland. You will drive capacity planning, CAPEX, and cross-site AME execution to enable safe, scalable production.

You will partner with Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to standardize processes, apply Lean methods, and deliver tangible productivity gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with NPDI, prototype builds, process industrialization, automation, CAPEX.
• Experience in a matrix organization with product/BU and plant interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, standard work, and process optimization.
• Willingness to travel regularly within EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AME function for the Busbar product line across EMEA (RAK in UAE and Burnfoot in Ireland).
• Own AME priorities, roadmap, standards, and team development across sites.
• Drive NPDI readiness and manufacturing launch readiness for new products and changes.
• Lead prototype, pilot, and pre-production manufacturing readiness activities.
• Coordinate industrialization with Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Drive design for manufacturability and design for assembly reviews.
• Standardize methods, layouts, tooling concepts, time standards, and documentation.
• Own automation and manufacturing technology roadmap; implement improvements in safety, quality, and cost.
• Lead CAPEX planning and capacity planning for transfers, localization, and expansions.
• Provide updates to EMEA leadership on readiness, projects, risks and priorities.
