Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Busbar product line at the UAE RAK site within the EMEA Advanced Manufacturing Engineering organization. You will support NPDI readiness, new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, process development, and tooling definition to enable robust and scalable manufacturing processes.

The role requires collaboration across Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Plant Manufacturing Engineering to ensure successful launches,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering or related experience.
• Experience with NPDI, product transfers, and manufacturing readiness.
• Knowledge of layout development and process documentation.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support NPDI readiness for Busbar products at the RAK site.
• Develop & implement manufacturing plans for new Busbar products.
• Ensure tooling, layouts, drawings, BOMs, test methods are prepared for launches.
• Coordinate industrialization activities with cross-functional teams.
• Drive design for manufacturability reviews to improve cost and quality.
• Support plant-to-plant product transfers and standardized methods.
