- Coordination and supervision of general maintenance and inspection of facilities and equipment in various properties maintained by the Company.
- Ensure that all electrical, plumbing and mechanical facilities of all properties are in proper condition by conducting constant inspection.
- Provide assistance to the Manager to ensure a constant level of technical competency are strictly enforced.
- Establish priorities and time frames for maintenance work; ensuring completion of work according to priorities and within time frames.
- Supervise maintenance staff by determining equitable distribution of workload schedules. Preparing staff performance report to be submitted to the Maintenance Manager.
- Ensure consistent and efficient maintenance by conducting random inspections of various maintenance and civil work in all properties.
- Prepare reports and conduct studies of varying complexity on maintenance and civil work activities.
- Estimate cost of supplies, materials and / or equipment required in various maintenance works. Request quotations and negotiate prices from suppliers and / or sub-contractors.
- Resolve various maintenance problems. Participate in after-hours emergency standby.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with more than 5 years’ experience in Building Maintenance or field related work in maintenance, including Managerial level of experience.
- Knowledge of standard procedures in maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment; general knowledge of materials, tools and methods related to civil construction. Skills in cost estimates of materials and supply needs for maintenance projects and construction.
- Knowledge of Safety practices and principles related to maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of effective supervision of a variety of individuals from various backgrounds using sound judgment within general procedural guidelines.
