About the Role
As a Budget Manager in Event Production, you will oversee the financial planning, monitoring, and reporting of all events to ensure they are delivered within budget and meet financial targets.
What You'll Do
- Budget Development & Forecasting: Create detailed budgets for each event, covering all aspects from concept to execution.
- Financial Monitoring & Reporting: Track expenses against budgets, provide regular updates, and analyze variances for senior management.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or integrity.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and adherence to budgets.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Post Event Analysis: Conduct financial post-mortems to assess budget performance and identify areas for improvement.
About You
- Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Ability to manage complex budgets and analyze financial data.

What You Need to Apply
- Proven experience as a Budget Manager or similar financial role within event production.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts).
- Knowledge of budgeting best practices and financial regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with large-scale events and understanding of production processes is a plus.
