Branding Manager Major International Sporting Event | UAE

We're excited to be part of a world-class sporting event taking place in the UAE and we're looking for an experienced Branding Manager to join our on-ground team and lead the delivery of venue branding, signage, and wayfinding across multiple competition venues.
If you have a strong background in event branding, venue dressing, and signage management for large-scale international events especially in the sports sector we want to hear from you.
Role Overview
As the Branding Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end implementation of venue dressing, wayfinding, operational signage, and health & safety signage for a prestigious multi-sport event. This role demands excellent project management, vendor coordination, budget control, and leadership of on-site teams to ensure a cohesive and world-class branding experience aligned with event standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of venue dressing, wayfinding, and operational signage across all venues.
- Ensure consistency with the event's visual identity across competition zones, spectator areas, and operational spaces.
- Manage external vendors for production, delivery, and installation of branding elements.
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with venue teams to scope and finalize signage requirements.
- Oversee budgets, timelines, and ensure high-quality execution within set parameters.
Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- UAE Visa: Must currently hold a freelance, dependent/spouse, or golden visa.

Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years in branding, signage, or venue dressing roles within large-scale events, preferably international sporting events.
- Proven track record managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of wayfinding systems, health & safety signage, and event operations.
- Availability to start in June/July and commit for the project duration.
- Flexible to work extended hours, including weekends, during peak event periods.
Preferred (But Not Mandatory)
- Previous experience in global sporting events (e.g., Olympics, FIFA, FINA, etc.).
- Familiarity with venue overlay, sports presentation, or competition area branding.
- Background in design coordination or creative branding processes.
- Knowledge of UAE venue operations and local supplier networks.
