The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing the Brand/Category Plan, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy. They assist in strategy planning and oversee consumer & food service engagement activities to enhance brand visibility.
Key Accountabilities
Brand Management
Develop a superior knowledge of consumers and key competitors through research and market visits.
Analyze IMS, EPOS & retail audit data (AC Nielsen) to assess market, segment and SKU growths and contributions.
Generate consumer and market driven initiatives to increase brand awareness & market share.
Analyze brand performance and work proactively with Sales and Trade Marketing team to maximize growth potential.
Work with Innovation and Product Development teams to drive new product launch and cost saving initiative projects and ensure timelines and KPI are met.
Develop and execute market activations to further stimulate the brand growth and development.
Contribute to the planning and execution of trade shows.
Finance
Managing monthly marketing budget provision and reconciliation of expenses to ensure effective and efficient utilization of marketing spends within overall marketing budgets allocated for the year.
Develop pricing strategies.
Managing margins/costing through managing channel wise value chains.
Communication
Support head of department in creating integrated brand/category communication across channels and geographies.
Manage third party agencies from creative, promotion and media. Ensure creative agencies fully comprehend communication brief and drive them to deliver exceptional work.
Development of brand/category communication platforms and enhance user-based experience by continuously exploring new avenues in digital and online marketing.
Formulate, obtain approval, and implement marketing activities (consumer promotions & events) to achieve set objectives of top & bottom-line growth.
Managing and implementing in-store promotional activities in association with the category team.
Qualifications/Requirements
Graduate in Marketing field.
Knowledge of Brand and Marketing Mix.
Strong Analytical skills to identify trends and challenges.
In-depth understanding of the company’s current products and future concepts. Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design.
Budget Management.
Ability to create and develop product and pricing strategies.
