Position: Brand Manager Audio
Reports to: CEO
Direct Reports: N/A
Job Purpose: Overall responsibility for the audio category.
Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the overall strategy of the product category.
- Responsible for brand acquisition, ensuring category product ranges are complete.
- Develop an understanding of the category's P&L.
- Negotiate pricing and overall distribution agreements with suppliers to the benefit of the client and its customers.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers.
- Act as a liaison/focal point between suppliers and the company.
- Assist the sales department in building proposals, solutions, and BOQs, ensuring the utmost accuracy and quality of proposed systems.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Attend trainings and keep up to date with industry trends and market changes.
- Conduct internal trainings geared towards brand/product knowledge and market trends, amongst others with the purpose of driving sales.
- Conduct external trainings geared towards brand/product knowledge, technical know-how and market trends, amongst others, with the purpose of driving sales.
- Conduct market analysis, providing management with insights, information, and understanding of the external landscape.
- Conduct competitor analysis, providing management with insights, information, and understanding of the external landscape.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for launches, promotions, highlights, and overall awareness on all things lighting.
- Engage cross-functionally with sales, procurement/logistics, warehousing and others to drive results strategically and financially.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Experience Required:
- At least 5 years of working experience in sales/commercial environments.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the pro audio industry.
Competencies / Skills Required:
- Strong technical background in audio technology.
- Sales skills a plus.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized.
- Results-oriented and capacity to work under pressure.
- Highly computer proficient (MS Office, SAP, Zoho, E-mail)
