Job Responsibilities

We are looking for the best Book Sales and Marketing Manager to help increase the sales of a book created by one of our founders. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets for book sales (Physical format + Amazon).
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with publishers, distributors, and other key stakeholders in the book industry.
  3. Identifying market trends, new opportunities, and customer preferences to refine sales tactics and product offerings.
  4. Overseeing the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track and present progress.
  5. Coordinating with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive book sales.
  6. Managing distribution channels to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of products.

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should:

  1. Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  2. Have proven experience (5+ years) in sales management, preferably within the book publishing or distribution industry.
  3. Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  5. Possess a results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales goals.
  6. Show adaptability and creativity in a dynamic and evolving market.
