Job summary

A leading data solutions firm in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced BODS Developer with over 5 years of expertise in BusinessObjects Data Services and solid SQL skills. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities to tackle ETL issues and be proficient in Python and Linux-based environments. Experience with AWS Glue and Amazon Athena is advantageous.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience in BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) design and architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience in BusinessObjects Data Services as a technical developer.
• Good analytical skills to analyze and fix ETL issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time interfaces with SAP applications using BODS.
• Manage Data Migration Projects with end-to-end implementation.
• Install and configure BusinessObjects Data Services.

Job description

Responsibilities

• More than 5 years of experience in BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) design and architecture
• Sound knowledge on SQL/ PLSQL
• Strong hands-on experience in Business objects Data Services(BODS) as technical developer
• Thorough knowledge of developing real time interfaces like IDOCBAPI SAP applications with BODS
• Should have experience in Data Migration Project with an end to end implementation.
• Good Analytical skills to analyze the ETL issues and fix them independently
• Must have experience of installation and configuring BODS
• Experience of various transformations of BODS
• Should have good understanding of the BODS landscape and architecture.
• Comfortable coding in Python and working with Linux-based environments

Knowledge and Tools

• Knowledge on AWS Glue Amazon Athena (Interactive Query processing) DBT (Data Transformation workflow) will be added advantage
