Job summary

Boat Fiber Glass in Dubai is seeking a Full-time fiberglass boat patch and gel-coat repair specialist. You will use hand and power tools to repair surfaces, sand and gloss finishes, and ensure clean, safe work areas.

Candidates should have a stable work history in boating or automotive finishing, the ability to read job orders, manage time effectively, and work well in a team with minimal supervision. Lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing in/out of boats is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience using hand tools/sanding.
• Experience with pneumatic and powered tools.
• Able to follow directions.
• Keep a tidy and orderly work location.
• Capable of working in a non-climate-controlled setting.
• Very detail oriented.
• Able to bend, squat, climb and stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to arrive as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Fiberglass and gel-coat repair.
• Use barriers, wax and towels to brighten coating to Parker standards.
• Check boat surfaces for defects such as air spaces, cuts, fractures, chips, etc.
• Using hand and power tools to sand, gloss and repair fiberglass surfaces.
• Follow safety regulations and keep workspace clean and cool.
• Literally able to climb in and out of boat.
• Additional obligations and duties as assigned.
