Gulf Craft Inc Company L.L.C invites candidates for a walk-in interview for the Sander/Finisher position at our Ajman facility. The role focuses on sanding, surface preparation, fairing, and finishing of fiberglass, GRP, and composite yacht components to achieve high-quality finishes.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of sanding tools, and familiarity with composite materials. Vocational training is preferred; marine/yacht manufacturing experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or diploma in sanding/finishing preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years in sanding or finishing; marine/yacht exposure is a plus.
• Experience with fiberglass/GRP/FRP or composites is preferred.
• Familiarity with sanding tools and surface prep before painting or gelcoat.

Responsabilités

• Perform sanding, grinding, and surface preparation on fiberglass, GRP, and composite components.
• Prepare yacht hulls, decks, panels, and other components for painting, gelcoat, or final finishing.
• Apply putty, filler, and fairing compounds as needed to correct imperfections.
• Operate orbital sanders, grinders, polishing machines, and other finishing tools safely.
• Remove rough edges, scratches, and defects; ensure smooth surfaces.
• Progressively sand using appropriate abrasives to meet finish requirements.
• Inspect surfaces for pinholes or cracks and report to supervisor.
• Prepare surfaces for primer, paint, gelcoat, or finishing processes.
