Job summary

Al Tayer Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Building Management Systems (BMS) engineer to oversee project commissioning, installation, programming and integration across complex systems. You will coordinate on-site activities, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

The role requires 5+ years of BMS project experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret technical documents.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience executing BMS projects.
Experience in installation, commissioning and programming of BMS; knowledge of integration protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

Lead project commissioning of Building Management Systems.
Provide on-site supervision for complex multi-person jobs.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
Maintain communications and provide regular client updates.
Coordinate installation activities (cabling, terminations).
Contribute to project design and execution with the BMS Project Manager.
Program, test and commission BMS networks, controllers, workstations and sensors/actuators.
Create BMS GUI interfaces.
Monitor KPIs: on-time, on-scope, quality engineering.
Deliver customer training and project close-out.
