Job summary

Forsyth Barnes Consultancy is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer based in Abu Dhabi to strengthen blue-team capabilities by turning security requirements into repeatable validation. You will assess changes across cloud, infrastructure, AI, and model supply chains, ensuring safeguards are effective before deployment.

You will translate attack techniques into tests, consolidate findings, and track remediation to closure, operating within a defined lines-of-defence framework.

Qualifications

• Several years of practical experience in cyber security engineering, blue-team operations, or related discipline.
• Experience substituting periodic manual testing with continuous automated validation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and deployment/pipeline assurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute continuous blue-team validation across cloud, infra, AI, and model supply-chain environments.
• Translate threat coverage into practical validation scenarios, test cases, and release-readiness evidence.
• Monitor MITRE ATLAS, OWASP LLM Top 10, and related intelligence sources for banking-relevant techniques.
• Convert identified attack methods into automated tests within seven-day SLAs.
• Coordinate with security, engineering, risk, and tech stakeholders to schedule testing around deployments.
• Maintain findings through DefectDojo and Attestation, ensuring timely remediation evidence.
