Job summary

SPERTON - Where Great People Meet in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a Blow Moulding Machine Operator for a plastic manufacturing plant. You will operate extrusion blow moulding (EBM) machines to produce HDPE bottles and jerry cans safely and efficiently, on a rotational shift.

This role requires monitoring process parameters, carrying out changeovers, and ensuring product quality per drawings. You will maintain documentation, observe safety rules, and report anomalies.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Plastic preferred.
• Plastic Processing / Mechanical / Electrical qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years’ blow moulding experience preferred.
• Experience with HDPE/PP extrusion blow moulding advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate EBM/blow moulding machines safely and efficiently.
• Start, stop and change over machines per SOP.
• Monitor machine parameters: extruder temp, die/head temp, parison, extrusion speed, blow pressure, cooling water, cycle time, cutting/deflashing.
• Maintain approved process parameters for each product.
• Carry out product changeover according to production plan.
• Ensure correct mould, neck insert, colour/masterbatch and raw material.
