Taproot Wizards is seeking a seasoned PR leader to organize press briefings, craft media materials, and educate reporters within the Bitcoin and Ordinals ecosystem. You will manage crisis communications and shape narratives with executives to secure speaking opportunities at conferences and podcasts.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PR leadership, strong writing, and established media relationships across crypto publications, with deep crypto-native understanding of Bitcoin/Ordinals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a PR manager or lead role.
• Experience media training founders for interview opportunities.
• Superior writing capability for press materials, releases, and briefs.
• Proven ability to pitch and secure media coverage.
• Established relationships with industry publications and journalists.
• Crypto native with experience through at least one full bull/bear cycle.
• Nuanced understanding of the Bitcoin and Ordinals landscape.

Responsibilities

• Organize press briefings, media sessions, and events.
• Create press materials including media pitches, FAQs, and fact sheets.
• Reactively respond to media inquiries and educate reporters.
• Manage crisis communications and correct misperceptions.
• Storyline with executives to create impactful narratives regarding Bitcoin tech and memes.
• Secure speaking appearances at conferences and on podcasts.
• Prep team members for public appearances.
