Our German client, a well-established industrial company, is launching a new, dynamic business venture in the UAE with a start-up spirit. Under a new brand focused on digital and service-driven solutions, the goal is to enhance efficiency, transparency, and sustainability for highly sophisticated clients with complex business models in market segments such as construction and infrastructure, operations and facility management, manufacturing as well as vertical multiples, which comprises projects in AI and vertical farming amongst others. We are looking for hands-on, forward-thinking professionals eager to build, shape, and drive something new from the ground up.

To strengthen their local presence, we are looking for a technically proficient and forward-thinking BIM Project Engineer (m/f/d) who thrives on complexity and wants to actively shape projects from concept to execution.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

1. Design and engineer complete application solutions involving anchors, direct fastening systems, and modular support structures using BIM methodology, hand calculations, and tools such as R-Stab or SAP2000.
2. Translate complex engineering requirements into accurate BIM models using Revit or AutoCAD, ensuring clarity, precision, and consistency throughout the design lifecycle.
3. Guarantee full compliance with local UAE regulations and international engineering standards. Ensure quality control and consistency across all technical outputs.
4. Engage directly with clients and project stakeholders to understand technical challenges, propose effective design solutions, and position our client’s value proposition during project acquisition and delivery phases.
5. Work closely with sales, global logistics, procurement, and finance to ensure seamless integration of technical design into project execution and commercial workflows.
6. Supervise external engineering subcontractors and support internal engineering teams to uphold technical excellence and maintain project alignment with quality standards.
7. Actively contribute to the refinement of design approaches, propose value engineering alternatives, and help shape digital engineering practices within the organization.

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

1. Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, ideally in BIM-based engineering environments.
2. Practical expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, and structural design tools such as R-Stab, SAP2000, or comparable software.
3. Experience with UAE-specific codes, modular support system design, and interaction with local approval authorities.
4. Strong analytical and design skills, combined with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
5. You are a structured thinker with a hands-on mindset able to balance detail orientation with project timelines and business priorities.
6. Entrepreneurial attitude, ownership mentality, and a willingness to work in an agile, fast-moving environment.
7. You possess excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and an instinct for collaboration across disciplines.
8. Emotional intelligence, personal integrity, and discretion are fundamental to how you operate especially in high-pressure situations.
