Job summary

Egis Group in Dubai is seeking a dependable BIM modeller for HVAC and PHE systems. You will build detailed 3D models in Revit, generate drawings from the BIM model, and update them according to engineer feedback.

You will manage project BIM models in ACC and coordinate with engineers and architects to ensure design accuracy. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC, strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, and experience in BIM-based project collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering HVAC or related field.
• Proven experience modelling HVAC & PHE systems using BIM software.
• Strong understanding of HVAC & PHE systems and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models of HVAC & PHE systems using Revit.
• Develop drawing outputs from the BIM model and update models per engineer comments.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Host and maintain project BIM models in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts with the design team.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D models of HVAC & PHE systems using Revit
• Develop drawing outputs from the BIM model
• Update models and drawings based on engineer comments
• Develop schedules and take-off from the model for BOQ support and other project uses
• Develop project modelling & drafting templates block and BIM families
• Responsible for hosting and maintaining project BIM models in CDE (Autodesk Construction Cloud ACC)
• Responsible for generating review workflows for engineer reviews and project submissions
• Coordinate with engineers architects and other stakeholders to understand project requirements
• Ensure models comply with industry standards and project specifications
• Coordinate with BIM Coordinator to perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts in collaboration with the design team
• Maintain up-to-date models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights and updates on modelling progress
• Assist in preparing and presenting project documentation and visualizations
• Willing to take on project BIM coordination responsibilities
