Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced BIM Modeler to support the development and updating of BIM models for CCTV, Access Control and Telecom systems on an ongoing rail and transport infrastructure project.

The role requires hands-on proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, and you will coordinate with CAD, engineering and technical teams to ensure accurate, compliant models.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, BIM, Drafting or related.
• Proven BIM modeling experience and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Telecom or ELV systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update BIM models for CCTV, Access Control and Telecom systems.
• Convert design and As-Built information into accurate coordinated BIM models.
• Model CCTV devices, cameras, equipment locations and components.
• Model Access Control System devices, interfaces and low-voltage installations.
• Model Telecom equipment, cable pathways and fibre routes.
• Incorporate architectural interfaces and cable containment into BIM models.
• Review drawings, installation records and information.
• Coordinate BIM with architectural, structural and other disciplines.
• Conduct model reviews and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Update models based on site information and team comments.
• Produce model views and drawings; support final As-Built handover.
• Attend site coordination meetings and verifications.
