Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a BIM Modeler for an ongoing rail and transport project in the UAE. The role focuses on creating, updating and coordinating BIM models for CCTV, Access Control and Telecom systems, based on design drawings and verified information.

You will work closely with CAD, engineering and technical teams to ensure BIM models accurately reflect installed systems and comply with coordination and documentation requirements, with immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, BIM, Drafting or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler, BIM Technician or BIM Coordinator.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Practical experience using Navisworks for model review and coordination.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience with CCTV, Access Control, Telecom, ELV or low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update BIM models for CCTV, Access Control and Telecom systems.
• Convert design and As-Built information into accurate coordinated BIM models.
• Model CCTV devices, cameras, equipment locations and system components.
• Model Access Control System devices, interfaces and low-voltage installations.
• Model Telecom equipment, cable pathways, fibre routes and related infrastructure.
• Incorporate architectural interfaces and cable-containment requirements into BIM models.
• Review technical drawings, installation records and engineering information.
• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct model reviews and identify clashes or coordination issues using Navisworks.
• Update models based on verified site information and technical-team comments.
• Maintain model accuracy, file structure, revision control and documentation consistency.
• Produce model views, coordinated drawings and other BIM deliverables as required.
• Support the preparation of final As-Built BIM models and technical handover documentation.
• Coordinate with CAD specialists, engineers, technicians and project stakeholders.
• Participate in technical coordination meetings and model-review sessions.
• Attend site coordination or verification activities when required. Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, naming conventions and documentation procedures.
