Job description

BIM Engineer - Roads and Highways - 100% (m/f)

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in BIM for infrastructure projects and possess excellent communication skills. The candidate should also have experience and be willing to train junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

1. Expertise in BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Infraworks, BIM 360, ACC, and other relevant 3D modeling tools.
2. Contribute to the preparation of digital models.
3. Collaborate with project teams for effective model integration.
4. Maintain a strong understanding of LOD requirements and BIM workflows.
5. Prepare schematic, detailed design, and IFC packages in coordination with the design team.
6. Possess basic knowledge of road design.
7. Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
8. Utilize advanced skills in clash detection, design review, and model coordination to ensure high accuracy and project alignment.
9. Classify assets within BIM.
10. Develop and maintain BIM documentation aligned with international and company standards, facilitating BIM coordination meetings, digital design workshops, and lessons learned sessions.
11. Support design engineers from concept to detailed design stages.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent field.
2. BIM-related certification is preferred.
3. Previous consultancy experience is advantageous.
4. Excellent communication skills with 5-10 years of industry experience in BIM coordination.
5. GCC work experience is advantageous.
6. Middle East experience preferred.
