BIM Engineer

CCL Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Skin and Facade Modeling, along with proficiency in leading BIM tools. As a BIM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate modeling, review, and creation of shop drawings across all stages of development, while collaborating with various project stakeholders.

Previous experience especially associated with Airport projects will be ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Skin and Facade Modeling: Create and maintain detailed and accurate models of skin and facade systems, ensuring they are correctly represented in all stages of the project.
• Modeling and Shop Drawings: Review, model, and create detailed shop drawings from LOD 100 to LOD 500, using software such as NAVIS, REVIT, BIM360, and TEKLA.
• Coordination and Federation: Ensure proper model federation by aligning, managing, and coordinating models with project stakeholders to achieve seamless integration across all disciplines.
• As-Built Drawings: Utilize node-based modeling techniques for creating accurate as-built drawings, ensuring that all models reflect real-world conditions.
• Software Utilization: Leverage the latest BIM technologies, including REVIT, TEKLA, BIM360, and NAVIS, to deliver high quality, error-free models.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve any modeling or coordination issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in BIM modeling, with a strong focus on Skin and Façade Modeling.
• Proficient in NAVIS, REVIT, BIM360, TEKLA, and other relevant BIM software.
• Experience in managing models and creating shop drawings across all LOD stages (LOD 100 to LOD 500).
• Strong understanding of node-based modeling techniques and their application to as-built drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Previous experience in large-scale projects especially Airport projects or complex facade systems is a plus.
