Job summary

Vertiv in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, seeks a detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to develop accurate 2D shop drawings and 3D busbar models for data center and commercial projects.

You will collaborate with mechanical design engineers, project managers and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet agency standards and customer requirements.

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and NavisWorks, strong BIM workflow knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years as BIM Coordinator in data center/high-rise projects.
• Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong BIM workflow knowledge and ISO 19650 familiarity.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, SLDs and blueprints.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience collaborating with design, project and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D shop drawings and 3D BIM models for busbar routes.
• Review project steps with team to meet customer requirements.
• Track BOQ changes and communicate with Design Manager.
• Address drawing discrepancies to deliver quality drawings.
• Meet project deadlines and adhere to HSE policies.
• Coordinate with Design Manager for inputs and approvals.
• Prepare site measurements from inputs.
• Close out projects with zero design errors and proper file updates.
