Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a BIM Coordinator for its Ras Al Khaimah, UAE team. You will create accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for busbar routes for commercial and data center buildings, collaborating with mechanical design engineers and project managers to ensure standards compliance and customer requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in BIM coordination, proficiency in Revit and NavisWorks, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflow.
• Familiarity with work collaboration on local and cloud servers.
• Understanding of ISO 19650 and best practices for drafting technical BIM drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, SLDs and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from the Design Manager and prepare busbar layout 3D model and 2D shop drawings per project requirements.
• Conduct review meetings on each stage of project execution to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Keep track of BOQ changes and communicate with Design Manager and project team.
• Coordinate with Design Manager to resolve drawing/spec discrepancies and deliver quality drawings.
• Complete each project design on or before the estimated date.
• Adhere to HSE policies and reduce paper usage in the factory and at site.
• Prepare site measurements based on input from Design Manager.
• Maintain zero error in design and update file locations for drawings and outputs.
