Job summary

VR4BIM is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator in the UAE with 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in architectural theming and entertainment projects. The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models and ensuring model quality across complex projects.

Responsibilities include clash detection, coordinating with architects, engineers, and fabricators, and maintaining BIM standards. Arabic language and GCC/UAE project experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of BIM experience in architecture, interior design or theming.
• Demonstrable experience on architectural theming or entertainment projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Revit and BIM coordination.
• Good knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to coordinate complex geometries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage BIM models for complex architectural, theming, and entertainment projects.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, façade, interior, and other multidisciplinary BIM models.
• Review BIM models for accuracy, completeness, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate complex themed architectural elements, façades, interiors, decorative elements, and project-specific components.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks, Revit, and other relevant BIM tools.
• Identify, track, and resolve design and model coordination issues in collaboration with relevant disciplines.
• Conduct BIM coordination meetings with architects, designers, engineers, consultants, fabricators, and project teams.
• Review and coordinate design changes and ensure timely updates to BIM models.
• Prepare and review drawings, layouts, schedules, documentation, and model outputs required for construction and fabrication.
• Ensure BIM models are developed and maintained in accordance with project standards and BIM execution requirements.
• Support the BIM Manager in implementing BIM workflows, standards, and quality control procedures.
• Monitor model quality and ensure consistency across project deliverables.
• Assist project teams in resolving complex modelling, coordination, and technical challenges.
• Maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary and international project teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of BIM coordination tasks in line with project schedules.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator with 5–10 years of relevant experience , preferably with a strong background in architectural theming and entertainment projects .

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience coordinating complex and highly detailed theming projects, with a strong understanding of BIM processes, architectural coordination, and multidisciplinary project delivery.

The candidate should be able to effectively coordinate BIM models across various disciplines, identify and resolve coordination issues, and ensure that project models meet the required quality, technical, and design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage BIM models for complex architectural, theming, and entertainment projects.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, façade, interior, and other multidisciplinary BIM models.

Qualifications and Skills :

• 5–10 years of relevant BIM experience, preferably in Architecture / Interior Design / Theming.
• Mandatory / Strongly preferred:Demonstrable experience working onarchitectural theming projects, entertainment projects, theme parks, immersive environments, or similar highly detailed projects.
• Strong hands‑on experience withRevit and BIM coordination.
• Good working knowledge ofNavisworksand clash detection/coordination processes.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, detailing, construction methods, materials, and fabrication requirements.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and technical drawings.
• Good understanding of BIM coordination processes, documentation, and model management.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to coordinate complex geometries and design elements.
• Strong communication , coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good English communication skills – written and verbal.
• Arabic-speaking is required/preferred
• Ability to work effectively with architects, designers, consultants, engineers, fabricators, and project stakeholders.
• Experience working withGCC/UAE projectsis highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and international project teams.

• Strong experience intheming projects is essential.
