Job summary

Al Shirawi Group, founded in 1971, seeks a skilled BIM Coordinator in Dubai to lead coordinated BIM models for interior fit-out projects. You will review architectural, structural, MEP and ID models, perform clash detection, and produce accurate coordination reports for resolution.

Candidates should have 5+ years of BIM experience, strong Revit/Navisworks skills, and a solid understanding of UAE submission requirements.

Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of BIM experience, preferably within the UAE interior fit-out and joinery industry.
Strong experience in BIM coordination, shop drawings, and as-built model preparation.
Good understanding of interior fit-out construction, joinery, architectural finishes, and MEP coordination.
Experience working on hospitality, residential, commercial, or high-end interior projects is preferred.
Familiarity with UAE authority and project submission requirements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Produce architectural & I.D shop drawings independently for small projects and in collaboration with architectural technicians while working on large projects.
Coordinate with suppliers of various materials while detailing shop drawing.
Coordinate with in house joinery production department while detailing any joinery elements to ensure workable & cost effective details are proposed in shop drawing.
Coordinate with Operations team (site engineers & Project Managers) to provide them with adequate drawings to carry out their site execution work
Maintain/organize project files, schedules and specifications. Ensure all documentation & information received from main contractor/ suppliers/client/authorities/consultants & subcontractors are all filed as per the Design Department filing procedure.
Make site visits and assist construction & production teams with any technical issues.
Attend progress meetings on site to ensure the technical drawings are produced effectively and approved within the contractual time.
Maintain and update RFIs & clarifications supported with 2D & 3D illustrations both using CAD & hand sketches
Preparing of authority approval drawings for DM & DCD approvals
Handling any other design jobs as delegated by the HOD
