Job summary

Caliberly is seeking an experienced school accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, including payroll, tuition fees, and bank reconciliations in Sharjah, UAE. You will prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring compliance with local standards and school policies, while liaising with management and auditors.

The role requires strong English and French language skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including bookkeeping, payables/receivables, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets and forecasts in line with school requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and school policies.
• Handle payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.
• Oversee tuition fee collections and related transactions.
• Liaise with school management and external auditors during audits.
• Support financial planning for school events and activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
