Job summary

Qualifications

• Native Arabic speaker with excellent English abilities.

• Degree in Library Science or related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop library collection policies within budget guidelines.
• Ensure library collections are up-to-date and accessible.
• Track new publications relevant to the library.
• Assist patrons with research inquiries and reference questions.
• Catalogue new acquisitions into the library database.
• Order supplies and manage library resources.
• Organize events such as book clubs or author talks.
• Maintain accurate circulation and overdue records.
• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Train staff on new systems or technologies.
