Job summary

SEHA SAKINA in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide assessments, diagnoses, treatment, and counseling across age groups in a multidisciplinary team. Immediate joining is preferred and a valid DOH license is required, with fluency in Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid DOH License as Clinical Psychologist or eligibility for DOH licensing.
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or mental health setting.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and evidence-based therapies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and formulate treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions including individual, family, and group therapy.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DOH and SEHA standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, social workers and other professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and treatment planning.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients, families and caregivers.
• Support crisis intervention and risk assessment when required.
• Ensure compliance with SEHA, DOH and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
