Job summary

Emirates Post Group in Dubai is seeking a Delivery Center Operator to perform operations, ensure timely and efficient task completion, and support logistics activities within the delivery center. You will follow policies, manage shipments, verify addresses, contact customers, update systems, and help meet daily delivery targets while upholding safety standards and quality service.

• 2-5 years of experience in Delivery Center.
• IT skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Valid Driver’s License; Forklift certificate.
• Knowledge of UAE Roads Transport Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow department policies, processes, SOPs and instructions to ensure controlled, consistent work.
• Complete delivery tasks quickly and efficiently; ready-to-deliver checks.
• Deliver shipments, verify addresses, sort, contact customers, and match data.
• Update operation system and hand over bills to in-charge staff.
• Meet targets for shipments delivered or received.
• Maintain safety standards in EP locations.
• Provide customer service, inform customers about new products and services.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and follow delivery routes/times.
• Handle clerical tasks with the delivery center and emergencies.
• Perform other tasks as allocated by Line Manager.

Perform all the works which related to operation, and to ensure completion all the tasks fast and with high efficiency.

Responsibilities

Policies, Processes & Procedures

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Compliance with the laws and regulations stipulated in the system of labor policies and administrative regulations (Attendance, Absence, Career commitment) .
• An understanding of how to handle sensitive data of a confidential nature.

Operations Delivery

• Ensure implementing all (Ready to deliver checklist) before leaving the delivery center and follow all operational standards to carry out all deliveries.
• Follow and implement all the delivery procedures on ready shipments (Checking addresses on shipments, Sorting, Contact customers to match the data and determine the date and location of delivery ... etc.).
• Completion and return to the delivery center by the accepted time.
• Update our operation system and hand over all the bills to in‑charge staff in the unit.
• Achieve the required target set for the number of shipments delivered and / or received.

Maintain Safety

Follow the standards of safety and security in the EP and other locations in which he operates.

Customer Services Quality

• provide all services to customers and receive / deliver all types of shipments to customers as quickly and efficiently required.
• Show an honorable image of the group for customers
• Inform customers about new products and services.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, ask for feedback on provided services and handling complaints from clients.

Operation Machinery

• To be sure following all the procedures related to the vehicle that is used in the delivery.
• Perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, such as monitoring fluid levels and replenishing fuel.
• Following delivery driving routes and time schedules.
• Maintain the group assets.

Perform Clerical Tasks

• Staying in touch with the delivery center and to be ready to do any emergency work.
• Commitment to all the instructions received from his direct charge staff for the interest of the work.

Other Tasks

Perform any other responsibilities relating to this job request or work task as allocated by the Line Manager or other Senior Management.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Knowledge:

• High School degree or equivalent.

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in Delivery Center.
