We are seeking a detail-oriented and design-aware Bid Manager to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a focus on architecture-led pursuits. This role suits someone with a strong appreciation of building architecture, masterplan design, and experience in design competitions. You will manage and coordinate the bidding process, working closely with architects, designers, and multi-disciplinary teams to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling proposals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the entire bid process across architectural and multi-disciplinary submissions
- Act as the primary point of contact for MESA region for the Egis Group Architecture Line, engaging in proactive discussions to support the foresight of opportunities
- Prepare and review tenders, pre-qualifications, expressions of interest, and RFPs with a focus on design-led content
- Coordinate with architectural and urban design teams to position our approach and design thinking clearly
- Support high-profile design competitions, ensuring submission requirements and visual presentation standards are met
- Engage with masterplanning leads to align our response with broader urban design strategies
- Collaborate with Business Development and Design Leaders to shape the bid narrative and technical offer
- Maintain structured and organised bid files, ensuring clarity across submissions
- Develop and update bid templates, CVs, project sheets, and presentation content aligned with the architectural brand
- Manage relationships with internal teams and external partners including sub-consultants
- Track market activity and competition relevant to architectural and masterplan opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Urban Design, or a related field; or equivalent experience in the built environment
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in bid management within an architectural practice, design consultancy, or related sector
- Proven track record in coordinating successful design-led bids, including for major architectural and masterplanning projects
- Strong understanding of architectural design processes, procurement routes, and competition submissions
- Familiarity with design stages, project typologies, and terminology specific to architecture and urban design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with an ability to articulate design intent and technical content
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel; working knowledge of Adobe InDesign is an advantage
- Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage inputs from design teams, consultants, and technical specialists
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational capabilities
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing multiple submissions at once
- Experience in international practices or with global teams is desirable
- Awareness of regional business practices, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, is preferred
