Chemie-Tech is a rapidly expanding global multidisciplinary Engineering & Construction (EPC) company with headquarters in Dubai and operations across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Americas. Our technical expertise allows us to address complex challenges in Bulk Liquid Storage Tank Terminals, Offsites, Utilities, Pipelines, Process Plants, and Topside Facilities. We provide comprehensive solutions for new storage terminals, upgrades of existing facilities, complex piping networks, structural works, equipment erection works, and improvements of existing process plants.

Technical Competencies

Fully conversant with Proposal/Bid related documentation preparation and submission. Proficient in related software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Nitro, PDF). Knowledge of drafting and scheduling. Experience in pre-bid procurement assistance, including RFQ preparation and vendor follow-up.

Role Description
  • Bid preparation and coordination
  • Preparation of synopsis and first lot clarification to clients
  • Access client servers for submission and document downloading
  • Lead proposal documentation and support for bid and departmental activities
  • Coordinate with other departments for bidding requirements and documentation
  • Manage RFQ process and procurement offers from vendors
  • Support in extracting BOQ and resource costing
  • Assist in business development activities such as PQ
Key Responsibilities

Listing main duties and responsibilities:

  • Receive bid/tender documents from clients via link
  • Prepare tender synopsis and first lot clarifications
  • Prepare tender document list and follow up
  • Clarify queries to clients and record responses
  • Maintain tender documentation, including TQs, addendums, and proposals
  • Store documentation in soft copy to support green policies
  • Coordinate with internal support departments (Legal, Contracts, HR, Planning/Projects, HSE, QA/QC)
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for each tender
  • Compile final proposal as per client requirements
  • Print hard copies as needed
  • Upload soft copies of proposals to client servers
  • Assist Proposal Manager in the proposal process
  • Provide AutoCAD drafting support for tenders
  • Support estimation managers and engineers in procurement and subcontract offers
  • Prepare execution plans and cost estimates under guidance
  • Prepare pre-qualification documents under guidance
