Job Description
  1. Greet arriving guests and retrieve their luggage.
  2. Escort guests to their rooms, explain the room facilities, and promote the hotel’s outlets (restaurant, bar, spa).
  3. Deliver luggage, messages, faxes, packages, etc., and assist with guest requests to ensure their comfort.
  4. Transport departing guests' luggage from the room to the lobby, verifying that all luggage has been accounted for.
  5. Ensure luggage is stored safely according to procedures.
  6. Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the luggage storage area.
  7. Provide knowledgeable information about the hotel, its services, the city, and local events.
  8. Be aware of ongoing hotel functions and events.
  9. Offer gracious, attentive, and friendly service to guests.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of experience in a public contact role, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle hotel.
  • Friendly, courteous, and engaging demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
