Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fully conversant with all hotel activities and facilities.
- Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
- Be well groomed at all times.
- Strive to please all guests and to continuously provide in-house facilities at every opportunity.
- Be able to sell the hotel’s products and promote sales within the hotel.
- Greet guests and visitors warmly with a smile.
- Coordinate with reception to execute arrivals and departures efficiently.
- Meet & welcome all arriving guests at the entrance of the hotel and escort/direct them to reception for check-in.
- Unload cars and cabs for all arriving guests.
- Transport guest’s luggage to rooms efficiently, ensuring no damage.
- Collect luggage at guest rooms for departing guests and bring to the lobby for check-out.
- Handle guest luggage in case of room moves.
- Promptly deliver messages within the hotel.
- Load cars and taxis for departing guests, ensuring a polite farewell.
- Maintain accurate records of check-in and check-out rooms.
- Adhere to the hotel’s policy on guest luggage storage.
- Deliver morning newspapers to rooms.
- Maintain control and records of all luggage left in care, using work sheets and log books.
- Ensure all function boards are up to date.
- Represent the hotel positively—polite, friendly, professional.
- Have full knowledge of other Dusit & Royal Princess Hotels & Resorts.
- Keep trolleys clean at all times.
- Keep the hotel lobby clean and tidy.
- Provide relief for doorman upon request.
- Carry out Front Office requests for room changes, forms, reports, or documents.
- Coordinate with security to protect hotel property and report any undesirables.
Commercial Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with guests.
- Promote the hotel’s image and business as a good salesperson.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Coordinate with concierge for smooth hotel operations.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with guests.
Others
- Engage in continuous learning through own IDP.
- Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements
- At least High Vocational diploma in any discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Front Office or Bell Service in a similar role.
- Ability to communicate in Basic English.
- Possess a professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting luggage during duty.
