PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Fully conversant with all hotel activities and facilities.
  2. Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
  3. Be well groomed at all times.
  4. Strive to please all guests and to continuously provide in-house facilities at every opportunity.
  5. Be able to sell the hotel’s products and promote sales within the hotel.
  6. Greet guests and visitors warmly with a smile.
  7. Coordinate with reception to execute arrivals and departures efficiently.
  8. Meet & welcome all arriving guests at the entrance of the hotel and escort/direct them to reception for check-in.
  9. Unload cars and cabs for all arriving guests.
  10. Transport guest’s luggage to rooms efficiently, ensuring no damage.
  11. Collect luggage at guest rooms for departing guests and bring to the lobby for check-out.
  12. Handle guest luggage in case of room moves.
  13. Promptly deliver messages within the hotel.
  14. Load cars and taxis for departing guests, ensuring a polite farewell.
  15. Maintain accurate records of check-in and check-out rooms.
  16. Adhere to the hotel’s policy on guest luggage storage.
  17. Deliver morning newspapers to rooms.
  18. Maintain control and records of all luggage left in care, using work sheets and log books.
  19. Ensure all function boards are up to date.
  20. Represent the hotel positively—polite, friendly, professional.
  21. Have full knowledge of other Dusit & Royal Princess Hotels & Resorts.
  22. Keep trolleys clean at all times.
  23. Keep the hotel lobby clean and tidy.
  24. Provide relief for doorman upon request.
  25. Carry out Front Office requests for room changes, forms, reports, or documents.
  26. Coordinate with security to protect hotel property and report any undesirables.

Commercial Responsibilities

  1. Communicate effectively with guests.
  2. Promote the hotel’s image and business as a good salesperson.

RELATIONSHIPS

  1. Coordinate with concierge for smooth hotel operations.
  2. Communicate effectively and efficiently with guests.

  1. Engage in continuous learning through own IDP.
  2. Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

  1. At least High Vocational diploma in any discipline.
  2. Minimum of 1 year experience in Front Office or Bell Service in a similar role.
  3. Ability to communicate in Basic English.
  4. Possess a professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting luggage during duty.
