Job Description

  1. Supervise bell desk, valet, transportation, and airport operations.
  2. Record and document all deliveries.
  3. Ensure deliveries are completed courteously and promptly.
  4. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to provide clear directions and information to staff.
  5. Train bell service staff to ensure they have the necessary skills for efficiency.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment daily.
  7. Assist guests with transportation, coordinating with transportation and airport teams.
  8. Keep areas clean and stocked with supplies, including public spaces.
  9. Assist other departments such as housekeeping, valet, and Business Center as needed.
  10. Maintain a safe working environment; report and correct unsafe acts or conditions.
  11. Respond to guest inquiries both in person and via phone, providing information about the hotel and local area.
  12. Market and upsell hotel rooms, facilities, and amenities whenever possible.
  13. Schedule weekly bell desk staff operations and breaks.
  14. Respond positively to queries.
  15. Follow department policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  16. Report 'Lost & Found' items.
  17. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  2. Highly organized, results-oriented, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
  3. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Highly responsible and reliable.
  5. Fluent in English; secondary language preferred.
  6. At least 1 year of proven supervisory experience or equivalent in a customer service industry.
  7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and guest requests.
  8. Proficiency in Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  9. Knowledge of Opera Property Management System is an asset.
  10. Ability to work well with team members.
  11. Ability to remain calm, courteous, and attentive to guest needs at all times.
