We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based therapy to individuals with behavioral, developmental, or emotional disorders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Psychosocial Assessments: Evaluate emotional, cognitive, and behavioral factors influencing patients' overall health, especially in relation to weight, stress, and lifestyle habits.
- Develop Behavioral Treatment Plans: Implement individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or other evidence-based methods.
- Support Weight Management Journeys: Help patients uncover emotional or psychological blocks to sustainable weight loss and body image acceptance.
- Guide Lifestyle Behavior Change: Coach individuals in adopting healthier habits using motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral techniques, and goal-setting strategies.
- Stress and Anxiety Management: Deliver tools and therapy for managing stress, burnout, and anxiety, particularly for high-performance individuals or corporate executives.
- Collaborate Across Clinical Teams: Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and work closely with nutritionists, physicians, and health coaches to deliver integrative, patient-centered wellness plans.
- Deliver Longevity-Oriented Mental Wellness Plans: Incorporate mindfulness, resilience training, and emotional regulation strategies as part of a broader anti-aging and preventive care model.
- Monitor Progress and Adapt Interventions: Use outcome tracking to adjust therapy goals and ensure alignment with patients' evolving needs and wellness goals.
Locations
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavioral intervention techniques.
- DHA or CDA license.
